We will be holding the final sign-ups for the Northern Triad Soccer Club
(formerly King Youth Soccer) Fall 2008 season on Monday 7-29 and Thursday 7-31 at the King Public Library from 6-8 pm. Activities will begin the first of August. Games begin the first of September and run through the end of October. Most games will be played at the King Soccer Complex or Pinnacle Elementary School. Open to boys and girls ages 3-17. Everyone
plays!"

Board Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month. 7 p.m. at the building at Recreation Acres. Please come and offer us your input.

Kids may not play games or practice with out shin guards.

HELP IS NEEDED IN THE FOLLOWING PLACES:

Remember without you volunteering your time, we can’t grow! Please talk to any board member if you are interested in finding out more about the positions. Most of the positions will take less than an hour a week of your time. Many of them require only 2 or 3 hours for the whole season.

  • Fund Raising Committee funds raised can be used to replace nets and other field materials. A new set of nets costs over $1,000.00
  • Age Group Co-ordinators helps to relay information to all team parents.
  • Advertising Committee helps to get information about club events to public.
  • Field Marshalls
  • Picture Committee Plans and executes pictures
  • Field Maintenance members will help with lining of fields
  • Discipline and Appeals on an as needed basis.
  • Communications Coordinator relays information from the board to the age group coordinators and the team parents

FUNDRAISING

KING AND MT. AIRY, NC August 14, 2007. It’s that time of year again for local children to participate in America’s fastest growing youth sport, soccer, and Uniroyal Tire, Stokes Tire and Automotive, and Mt. Airy Tire and Automotive are teaming up to help make it a successful season. Children and their parents associated with Northern Triad Soccer Club and the King Youth Soccer League will be visiting Stokes Tire and Automotive and Mt. Airy Tire and Automotive for a free soccer ball and the leagues will receive a donation as part of Uniroyal’s national youth soccer program.
