TO BROOK COVE FIELD
From King, take old Hwy 52 toward Rural Hall. At the stoplight in Rural Hall, turn Left on to Hwy 65 toward Germanton. When you get to the stop sign in Germanton, turn Left. Go through Germanton, and turn Left where Hwy 8N branches off from 65 (There is a big gas station there - a Texaco I think). Follow Hwy 8 up to the first Road to the Right. (There will be a sign saying Brook Cove,) turn there and go approximately 3 miles and the fields will be on your Left just past the old RJR Brook Cove plant. It takes about 25 - 30 minutes to get there from King depending on traffic.
TO KING RECREATION ACRES: (U10 FIELD)
- From 52, take Exit 123 King/Tobbaccoville
- From northbound –turn right, from southbound – turn left
- Go 1.4 miles at the 3rd light (with Amoco, King Drug), turn LEFT on W. Dalton
- .3 miles turn LEFT on Pilot View
- .2 miles turn RIGHT on Westview
- travel past playground, up hill and around curve to find parking and field
TO KING ELEM. FIELDS: (U6, U8, AND U12 FIELDS)
- From 52, take Exit 122 Moore/RJR Drive
- Turn Left at end of ramp onto Moore Rd.
- Go 2.5 miles and at 3rd light (after going over railroad tracks), turn LEFT on E. King St.
- .3 miles – 1st LEFT on Kirby Rd.
- .2 miles – 1st RIGHT on East School Rd.
